About Us
What we Believe
We believe the Bible to be the complete Word of God; that the sixty six books, as originally written, comprising the Old and New Testaments were verbally inspired by the Spirit of God and were entirely free from error; that the Bible is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice and the true basis of Christian union.
We believe in one God, Creator of all, holy, sovereign, eternal, existing in three equal Persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
We believe in the absolute and essential deity of Jesus Christ, in His eternal existence with the Father in pre incarnate glory, in His virgin birth, sinless life, substitutionary death, bodily resurrection, triumphant ascension, mediatorial ministry and personal return.
We believe in the absolute and essential deity and personality of the Holy Spirit Who convinces of sin, of righteousness and of judgment; Who regenerates, sanctifies, illuminates and comforts those who believe in Jesus Christ.
We believe that Satan exists as an evil personality, the originator of sin, the arch-enemy of God and man.
We believe that man was divinely created in the image of God; that he sinned, becoming guilty before God, resulting in total depravity, thereby incurring physical and spiritual death.
We believe salvation is by the sovereign electing grace of God; that it has been provided for all and is obtained by grace through faith in the all sufficient sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that when the righteousness of God in Christ has been imputed, good works and perseverance are produced.
Our Pastors:

Josh
Taylor
Senior Pastor
Emmanuel Gwayumba
Associate Pastor
Josh believes that it is imperative that the local church would preach the Word of God faithfully, win souls for Christ, and disciple the saints to be obedient to the Great Commission. Soli Deo Gloria.
Josh is married to Kimberly who has faithfully been his partner in ministry and life. They have been blessed with four boys.
Josh came to know Jesus Christ as his Saviour at the age of 9, and then called into ministry at the age of 14. After receiving Biblical education from NBBI and Heritage College and Seminary, he entered the ministry full time in 2002. He has ministered in various Fellowship Baptist Churches and one Associated Gospel Church. He and his wife Kimberly were called to minister in Cornwall and the surrounding area in 2017.
Joshua 1:8 - This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
Emmanuel is convinced that the faithful preaching and teaching of Scripture is the solemn responsibility and awesome privilege of the local church by which God is glorified and believers are equipped for life and ministry.
Emmanuel is husband to Laura. They are grateful for their daughter, Eden.
At nine years old, Emmanuel professed faith in Christ and was baptized. Years later, while pursuing his undergraduate degree, God grew in him a love for ministry. Eventually, it became clear to him and others that the Lord had called him to full time pastoral ministry. In the fall of 2016, Emmanuel and Laura moved to Cambridge where he began studying at Heritage Seminary. In July of 2021, he was called to Fellowship Baptist Church Cornwall as associate pastor. Emmanuel is currently serving at FBCC while finishing up his master’s degree.
1 John 4:9-10 - In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
