About Us

What we Believe

We believe the Bible to be the complete Word of God; that the sixty six books, as originally written, comprising the Old and New Testaments were verbally inspired by the Spirit of God and were entirely free from error; that the Bible is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice and the true basis of Christian union.

We believe in one God, Creator of all, holy, sovereign, eternal, existing in three equal Persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the absolute and essential deity of Jesus Christ, in His eternal existence with the Father in pre incarnate glory, in His virgin birth, sinless life, substitutionary death, bodily resurrection, triumphant ascension, mediatorial ministry and personal return.

We believe in the absolute and essential deity and personality of the Holy Spirit Who convinces of sin, of righteousness and of judgment; Who regenerates, sanctifies, illuminates and comforts those who believe in Jesus Christ.

We believe that Satan exists as an evil personality, the originator of sin, the arch-enemy of God and man.

We believe that man was divinely created in the image of God; that he sinned, becoming guilty before God, resulting in total depravity, thereby incurring physical and spiritual death.

We believe salvation is by the sovereign electing grace of God; that it has been provided for all and is obtained by grace through faith in the all sufficient sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ.  We believe that when the righteousness of God in Christ has been imputed, good works and perseverance are produced.

Associate Pastor

Josh believes that it is imperative that the local church would preach the Word of God faithfully, win souls for Christ, and disciple the saints to be obedient to the Great Commission. Soli Deo Gloria.

Josh is married to Kimberly who has faithfully been his partner in ministry and life. They have been blessed with four boys.

Josh came to know Jesus Christ as his Saviour at the age of 9, and then called into ministry at the age of 14. After receiving Biblical education from NBBI and Heritage College and Seminary, he entered the ministry full time in 2002. He has ministered in various Fellowship Baptist Churches and one Associated Gospel Church. He and his wife Kimberly were called to minister in Cornwall and the surrounding area in 2017.

Joshua 1:8 - This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

“Preach the Gospel! Love the People!” This reflects the heart of Pastor Cory. He is passionate about discipleship, and believes discipleship plays an integral role in people strengthening their relationship and walk with the Lord Jesus Christ.

Cory is married to his high school sweetheart Heather, and they have three children: Lizzy, Lucas, and Abby. As a family, they make a solid ministry team.

Cory came to know Jesus as his Saviour when he was 18. After serving in various youth ministries within the church, the Lord called Cory to further his knowledge of the Scriptures at New Brunswick Bible Institute. Cory started as the intern at Fellowship Baptist Church Cornwall in May 2019 and transferred to the associate role in May 2020.

Colossians 3:23-24 - Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.
